But I’m right handed
I’ve tried a lot of different beers from a lot of different places, and sometimes it’s easy to get lazy. You order the tried and true, rather than trying something different, and at some point you begin to get a little bored. Thank goodness, then, for those breweries which brew a product which shakes up the old taste buds a bit and gives you a reason to remember why you like beer in the first place.I reported on one of these a little while ago, when I bought a case of Dogfish Head’s 60 Minute IPA on a whim. This weekend I may have found another exciting new brewery (at least, new to me). I was at a party and there was a bottle with a little red hand on the cap sticking out of the basin of ice. Pulling out the bottle, I saw the Bavarian flag, usually a good sign, as long as the beer in question is actually a style found in Bavaria. I was disappointed for a brief moment when I saw that the beer was an Oktoberfest or Märzen style beer because most of those are fairly ho-hum. This one, however, was quite tasty, and makes me really want to try one of their other beers. So I noted the brewery’s name, Left Hand Brewery, and I’ll be looking for it at the local pub or distributor. If you have any recommendations let me know.
