Oktoberfest
I’ve told the story elsewhere, but one thing to look forward to is my planned October trip to Germany. It’s set to coincide with - you guessed it - the Oktoberfest, and fortunately I have business to attend to in Munich.
It also happens to be exactly twenty years from one of my first trips to the Oktoberfest, and my first acquaintance with a Californian named James. James and I spent one glorious week at the Oktoberfest those twenty years ago, and he recently contacted me to let me know he’d be going as well.
So, watch for it, the reunion of two Oktoberfest friends coming up later this year! If you’re thinking of going , you should probably have made plans by now (not that I have), but you can get started here.
